Product Feature: Channel 4. George Clarke's Old House, New Home

11.07.19

Amazing Productions has teamed up with Channel 4 to bring back the fourth series of George Clarke’s Old House, New Home, showing on Thursday nights at 8 pm. The third episode, which aired on Thursday 4th July, features two properties in Leamington Spa and Mellor, Greater Manchester, both showcasing Armac Martin hardware.

The original kitchen in the 200-year-old farmhouse in Mellor was dark and worn with an awkward, fragmented layout.

By brightening up the original wooden beams and adding a lick of polish to the flagstone flooring, it’s instantly opened up into a welcoming social space, with the added bonus of a breakfast bar.

The room created by R & R Kitchens includes not one, but two Armac Martin hardware collections - both Rotunda and Withenshaw feature in our satin antique satin lacquer finish.

The bronze accents of the Withenshaw drawer pulls and Rotunda cabinet knobs emit a functional but rustic feel, in keeping with the farm’s original roots.

Although the Withenshaw collection offers a classic look most suited to shaker style kitchens, and the Rotunda collection is a deco-inspired range of solid-brass machined knobs and pulls, the two work effortlessly together in this stunning space.

The bank of coloured country-style units, flecked granite worktops and traditional butler’s sink allow the room to remain traditional, with a luxury touch throughout.
